

MANAH: The Oman Across Ages Museum in Manah organised the ‘Joy of Generations’ event during the Eid Al Adha holiday, offering a festive atmosphere filled with cultural and recreational activities for visitors of all ages.
The event featured a diverse programme aimed at strengthening family engagement and celebrating Omani cultural traditions. Activities included folk performances by the Manah Folk Arts Troupe, face painting, colouring plaster sculptures for children, and an interactive storytelling segment that revived the art of storytelling in an engaging and entertaining manner.
The celebration attracted families and visitors seeking to enjoy the Eid festivities in an environment blending culture, heritage and entertainment.
Eng Abdullah bin Al Yaqdhan al Harthy, Director-General of the Oman Across Ages Museum, said the annual “Joy of Generations” initiative is designed to enhance the festive spirit of Eid while deepening intergenerational connections to Omani heritage and social values.
“The ‘Joy of Generations’ event comes annually to add an atmosphere of joy to the holiday and strengthen the connection of generations to Omani cultural heritage and its social values, in a framework that enriches the visitor experience and reflects the atmosphere of Eid,” he said.
The event also forms part of the museum’s broader efforts to offer interactive cultural experiences that encourage public engagement and celebrate the richness of Oman’s traditions in a contemporary setting. — ONA
